Julie McCormick - Executive Director

Julie is a magna cum laude graduate of Juniata College with a BS in Business Administration. She also holds a MS in Sports Management from Robert Morris University. She worked in purchasing for Westinghouse Electric Company for several years, then moved from a full-time role in the corporate world to part-time roles in athletics and ministry while raising her five children. Julie and her husband Ron are both life-long residents of Pittsburgh.

Kacie Angelo - Assistant Director
& Manager of Recruitment

Kacie is a graduate of Grove City College, with a degree in Communications. A member of the Pittsburgh Fellows Class of 2013, she started her career at UPMC in Human Resources. During her time at UPMC, she developed a passion for recruitment and was able to gain valuable experience recruiting for various roles in both clinical and corporate settings. Kacie lives in the Pittsburgh area with her family.

Nicole Shirk - Executive Director Designate

Nicole Shirk is a summa cum laude graduate of Wake Forest University with a BA in Economics. She previously served as Executive Director of Fox Families Care and held senior leadership roles as Head of People at Birgo Realty and Executive Vice President for Campus Ministry at the Coalition for Christian Outreach (CCO). Nicole is a proud Pittsburgher and enjoys doing life with her husband and two teenage sons.

Don Evans - Chairman of the Board

Don is President and CEO of Pittsburgh Gateways, a non-profit focused on people- and place-based economic development throughout western Pennsylvania. Don holds a bachelor's degree in International Affairs/Economics from George Washington University and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Virginia. With the exception of five years of expat life in Europe, Don, his wife Elizabeth and their three children have happily called Pittsburgh home since 1992.
